So what I thought would be a quiet book week didn’t quite turn out that way. But you know what? I’m not even mad cause it was such an awesome book week! Seriously, I can’t even remember the last time it was that good.
On Monday I got to meet finally meet the very awesome Crystal from Raincoast Books. She is based out in Vancouver normally, so while we connect online quite frequently this is the first time we have ever met face to face. I also had the opportunity to reconnect with the equally amazing Dan from Raincoast books. Seriously, it was so great to see them and connect face to face.
Also on Monday, I had the chance to not only meet the fabulous Rainbow Rowell, author of great books like Attachments, Eleanor & Park, and Fangirl. Not only did I get to meet, I was actually one of the VIP’s for her signing event held at Indigo Yorkdale and had the opportunity to chat with her before the signing began. Seriously, if I wasn’t a fan of Rainbow’s before meeting her, I can certainly say that I am now. She is just SO.DAMN.AWESOME.AND.MADE.OF.WIN. I can’t even begin to describe it. It’s meeting authors like Rainbow that remind me just why I love books so much. Look out for my review of her books in the next few weeks.

It seems like my reading slump is finally over. I’ve read 4-5 books alone this week and already written several reviews and scheduled them. I don’t know how long this productivity will last, but while it does I am going to DO.ALL.THE.THINGS.
What books did you get this week?
