This Month in Books – June 2014

Another month has come to a close and I’ve got some pretty good books to show for it.  Compared to other months, I received a relatively small amount of books for review in June!  I have already received the bulk of the fall 2014 books I was interested in, so now I am severely cutting back on just what and how much I accept for review.  With a few exceptions, expect my monthly book haul posts to be much, much smaller.  My goal now is to catch up on all my outstanding reviews and come up with a set schedule for book reviews on the blog.  Also, I’m thinking of doing a bunch of monthly mini-reviews where I highlight the best and worst points of the books that I read that month.

Do not adjust your TV screens.  I did receive a copy of Rooms by Lauren Oliver and Burning Kingdoms by Lauren DeStefano!  They don’t  come out until September 2014 and  March 2015 respectively, but I’m excited all the same!

These look amazing! From the covers alone, I want to read them all!

I’m kind of like that myself. I’m so visual, so sometimes covers make or break a book for me. I have had lots of books that I have been on the fence about reading and then the cover is released and looks amazing and I then have to read it. So bad, I know!

AHHHH so much envy about Landlines and Rooms!

I had a bit of a fangirl scream when I got them. My coworkers think I’m a bit insane from it, but I can live with that.

Great book hauls! I think a post with mini reviews would be a great idea.
