For those of you who frequent Nicole About Town, you will know that this blog originally started off in 2011 as a book blog. I have steadily been incorporating other things like beauty, movies, lifestyle as my interests grow, but I will always feature books here on Nicole About Town. While I have grown out of book blogging and book reviews in the traditional sense, I haven’t fallen out of my love affair with books on a whole.  I will get back to reviewing, at some point, but right now, I am not sure just ‘how’ that will come about.  I have some ideas and I am currently working out the kinks, but at this point, I really have no interest in writing a ‘traditional’ book review again.

It has been a while since I showed anyone what books I received for review so be prepared, this post may be a bit of a doozy. Something you may notice with a lot of the books in this post is that they are books not yet released and won’t come out until 2015! Yep, you may have guessed that I am hard at work on my Winter 2015 reading guide which will be available in November.  Some of the books have been read already. some I’m reading now, and the rest I will get to in the coming weeks.  I will say this, so far the upcoming publishing season is looking pretty good from what I’ve read so far.  If you want to know more about the books below, click on the cover and it will take you to the Goodreads page for each.

I love Cynthia Hand and can’t wait to read her new book (I do have the egalley, just need to get out of my reading slump!)

I don’t think I have read any Cynthia Hand before. I know some of her books are on my tbr somewhere, but I haven’t actually got around to reading any.

I know what you mean about a reading slump. I go through periods where even though I have the books, I can’t bring myself to read them. It’s kind of sad really!
